Stjepan Vego

Stjepan Vego (born 9 July 1997) is a German-born Croatian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Prva HNL club NK Inter Zaprešić.

Club career

Early career

Vego started playing football at Niendorfer TSV where he stayed until 2014. In 2014, he joined the youth team of SC Victoria Hamburg, before debuting for the first team in 2015. He stayed at Victoria until 2016.

For a short period in 2017, Vego played for Hamburger SV III.

GOŠK Gabela

In the summer of 2017, Vego signed for Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina club NK GOŠK Gabela.[1] He made his competitive debut for GOŠK on 15 October 2017, in a 2–2 draw against FK Mladost Doboj Kakanj.[2]

On 30 June 2018, Vego extended his contract with GOŠK.[3] On 7 June 2019, after the club got relegated to the First League of FBiH, he decided to leave GOŠK

Inter Zaprešić

On 7 June 2019, right after leaving GOŠK, Vego signed with Prva HNL club NK Inter Zaprešić.[4]

International career

Vego represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at U21 level and made one cap for the team,[5] but would later go on and join the Croatia U21 team.[6]
