Siuri railway station

Siuri railway station serves Suri town of Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal, and the adjoining villages. The railway station is owned by Indian Railways and operated by Eastern Railway. There is a total of 30 train arrivals and departures per day happening at this railway station. This makes Siuri railway station the 7th most busiest railway station in Birbhum district.[1] It is only 19 km (12 mi) away from the nearest most important railway station Sainthia Junction. Mayurakshi Fast Passenger and Hool Express are the only trains that directly connect Siuri to Howrah and that's why people of Siuri prefer Sainthia Junction instead of Siuri railway station.[2]
