Richard Bagwell (priest)

The Very Rev. Richard Hare Bagwell, MA (1777-1826)[1] was an Anglican priest in Ireland [2] in the first quarter of the 19th-century.[3]

Bagwell was born in County Cork and educated at Trinity College, Dublin.[4]

Bagwell was M.P. for Cashel from 1799 to 1801.ref>Clogher clergy and parishes : being an account of the clergy of the Church of Ireland in the Diocese of Clogher, from the earliest period, with historical notices of the several parishes, churches, etc" Leslie, J.B p36: Fermanagh, R.H. Ritchie 1929</ref> He was Dean of Kilmacduagh from 1804 to 1805.[5]After that he wasDean of Clogher[6] from 1805[7] and also Precentor of Cashel from 1805,[8] holding both positions until his death on 25 December 1825.[9]
