Research Park at Florida Atlantic University

Research Park at Florida Atlantic University is a research park affiliated with Florida Atlantic University with buildings on its Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach campuses. Research Park is a technology hub for startup companies and corporate research and development operations. It is the only university-affiliated research park in South Florida,[2][3] although it is independently operated.

The Research Park additionally operates a Technology Business Incubator (TBI).

History

The Research Park at Florida Atlantic University was established in 1985 by the Broward and Palm Beach County commissions.[4] The Research Park is governed by the Florida Atlantic Research and Development Authority, which was created by the commission.[5]

The C. Scott Ellington Technology Business Incubator (TBI) was established h in December 2010.

Notable tenants

The FAU College of Medicine's Simulation Center in Research Park trains medical students, first responders, nurses and other medical personnel.
