Repište, Belgrade

Repište (Serbian Cyrillic: Репиште, pronounced [rě̞piːʃte̞]) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Čukarica.

Repište actually makes the western part of the Žarkovo neighborhood, bordered by the Banovo Brdo and Sunčana Padina to the north, Košutnjak to the east, Cerak to the south and Žarkovo itself to the west.

It is almost exclusively a residential area. The name of the neighborhood, Repište, means turnip field.

Extension of Košutnjak forest which spreads into the neighborhood is classified as a separate, Repište Forest, which covers an area of 6 ha (15 acres).[1]
