Penang Front Party
Penang Front Party (PFP) is a Penang-based-opposition party in Malaysia.[1] Founded as a Penang-based political party with UMNO lawmaker Zahidi Zainul Abidin as advisor, it was revived by businessman Patrick Ooi in May 2017, whose coffeeshops were shut by the DAP-led Penang state government.[2] As the name suggests, it contested several seats in the then-opposition held state during the Malaysia General Election 2018 but also sent a candidate to Kuala Lumpur.[3] However, they failed in their maiden electoral venture with all their candidates having lost their deposits.
