Pedro Cachín

Pedro Cachín (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpeðɾo kaˈtʃin]; born 12 April 1995 in Córdoba) is an Argentine tennis player.[1] Cachín has a career high ATP singles ranking of 166 achieved on 14 September 2015. He also has a career high ATP doubles ranking of 312 achieved on 30 April 2018. Cachín has had a career high juniors ranking of 8 achieved on 9 December 2013. Cachín made his ATP main draw debut at the 2015 Argentina Open in the doubles event partnering Facundo Argüello.

Professional Tennis Career

Pedro Cachín entered his first Grand Slam tournament at the 2015 Wimbledon Championships, but was eliminated by Jimmy Wang 4–6, 6–3, 7–5 in the first qualifying round. He would re-enter Wimbledon in 2019 and would again be eliminated in the first qualifying round to Tallon Griekspoor.

His first Roland-Garros came about in 2019 in which he faced a defeat against Elliot Benchetrit in the first qualifying round, 3–6, 6–1, 3–6.

He entered the 2019 US Open Tennis Championships, but was eliminated by Blaž Kavčič in the first qualifying round, 1–6, 6–4, 1–6.
