Path Transit

Path Transit is an Australian bus company operating services in Perth under contract to Transperth. It is a subsidiary of Keolis Downer.

History

On 29 September 1996, Path Transit commenced operating services in the Marmion and Wanneroo areas from depots in Joondalup and Karrinyup with 191 Mercedes-Benz and Renault buses.[1][2][3][4]

In January 1998, Path Transit gained further services in the Joondalup North area[5][6][7] followed on 5 July 1998 by services in the Morley area.[8][9][10] In 1998, a new depot was opened in Wangara.[11] In October 2012, Path Transit took over the Kalamunda contract from Swan Transit.[12][13]

As of April 2019, Path Transit continues to operate the Kalamunda and Morley area contracts.[14][15]

Fleet

As at November 2017, the Perth fleet consisted of 370 buses[16] while the TransGoldfields fleet had 16 buses.[17] Buses are painted in Transperth livery.

Depots

Path Transit operates five depots in Perth in Bayswater, Walliston, Malaga, Redcliffe, Welshpool, Kalgoorlie and Geraldton.[18][19]
