Along with its sister stations Nova 100 Melbourne, Nova 96.9 Sydney, Nova 106.9 Brisbane and Nova 93.7 Perth, Nova now claims to be Australia's leading brand in the women demographic of ages between 45-54.[1]
Breakfast
The breakfast show of Nova 91.9, is the flagship program of the station aimed at capturing an audience for the rest of the day. The show runs from 6:00am to 10:00am weekday mornings. The presenters are Liam Stapleton and Ben Harvey .
A podcast of the breakfast show is available on the Nova website, Spotify, iTunes, and Radio.net, and lasts for an average of 47 minutes, showcasing the best bits of interviews and segments of the week.[2]
In December 2016, it was announced that Hayley Pearson would return to Nova 91.9 and join the Breakfast show from January 2017.[3]
In October 2018, Shane Lowe announced his resignation from Nova 91.9 after 11 years with the station and 7 years hosting the breakfast show. Jarrod Walsh has been announced as his replacement.[4]
In September 2019 Dylan Lewis announced he would be leaving Nova 919
In 2020 Ben & Liam (former Triple j breakfast hosts) will replace Dylan & Hayley
In December 2017, Nova announced that it will network Greg Burns from Nova 96.9 as opposed to local announcers. In June 2018, local announcers returned to the station replacing Greg Burns.[5]
