North Minahasa Regency

North Minahasa Regency is a regency in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its capital is Airmadidi. It was originally part of the Minahasa Regency until it was established as a separate regency on 20 November 2003.[3] It covers an area of 918.49 km2, and had a population of 188,904 at the 2010 Census; this had risen to 197,861 at the 2016 Intermediate Census, and the latest official estimate (as at 1 July 2019) is 203,200.[4] The Regency includes the offshore islands of Bangka (Pulau Bangka) and Talisei (Pulau Talise) to the north of Sulawesi, and Mantenang (Pulau Mantenang) and Naeng Besar (Pulau Naeng-besar) to the northwest.
