No Se Me Quita

"No Se Me Quita" (English: "It Doesn't Go Away") is a song by Colombian singer Maluma released as the fourth official single from his fourth studio album 11:11[1] on 30 August 2019. The track features Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin, who had previously worked with Maluma on "Vente Pa' Ca".[2]

Critical reception

Suzette Fernandez from Billboard included "No Se Me Quita" as one of five recommended tracks from 11:11, saying, "This is the track that will stick on your mind all day. The lyrics are about thinking of one amazing night with a person. The song features very soft urban rhythms, but its pop sound will make you dance."[3]

Music video

Maluma and Martin teased the video by both posting the same photo of the pair on their social media on 16 July 2019, with the caption: "Esta combinación no falla parceros" ("This combination does not fail, guys").[4]

The music video was released alongside the song on 30 August 2019. The video was shot in Miami by Nuno Gomes, who had also directed the videos for previous Maluma singles "HP", "11 PM" and "Instinto Natural".[5] The clip shows both men walking along the shore and features Maluma pretending to drown himself in order to receive a kiss from a female lifeguard[6][7] as well as partying in an underwater location.[8]

As of March 2020, the video has received over 100 million views on YouTube.
