"My Boy" is a song by American singer Billie Eilish from her debut EP Don't Smile at Me (2017). It was released as a single on July 28, 2017.[1] The song was featured in an episode of the American television series Shadowhunters, titled "Thy Soul Instructed", which is the fourth episode of the third season in the series.[2]

Composition

"My Boy" is a pop song that includes an "unexpected" tempo change. The song begins with a "chiller, jazz-like vibe, and a layer of darkness and mystery". The song soon becomes more upbeat while maintaining the heaviness of the intro.[1]
