Munbura is a locality in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[1]

History
The locality takes its name from the railway station name, assigned on 30 October 1913, which is an Aboriginal word, meaning poplar gum.[1]
Munbura State School opened on 16 August 192 and closed in December 1971.[2]
