Mount Bindango, Queensland

Mount Bindango is a rural locality in the Maranoa Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Mount Bindango had a population of 33 people.[1]

History

The locality takes its name from the mountain, which was named on 11 May 1846 by the Surveyor-General of New South Wales, Thomas Mitchell, based on the name given to him by Aboriginal informants.[2]
