Selection of participants

A number of delegates will be selected to compete in the pageant. Due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic in national pageants, Carmen Jaramillo and Chantal Wiertz, the 1st runners-up of Señorita Panamá 2019 and Miss Universe Curaçao 2019, respectively, have been appointed by the local franchisees to represent their countries, following the postponement of national competitions to 2021.[1][2]
