King was drafted by St Kilda with their first selection which was the fourth overall in the 2018 national draft. He didn't play a single AFL game in 2019 due to an ongoing knee injury he had suffered during his draft year.[1] His twin brother, Ben, is also a professional footballer for the Gold Coast Suns.[2]
