Bailey Smith

Bailey Smith (born 7 December 2000) is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by the Western Bulldogs with the 7th draft pick in the 2018 AFL draft.[1][2][3][4]

AFL career

Smith made his AFL debut in the Western Bulldogs' win over the Sydney Swans in the opening round of the 2019 AFL season.[5] He kicked his first goal in a Round 4 loss to Collingwood and he earned a 2019 AFL Rising Star nomination in the Bulldogs' Round 9 loss to Geelong.[6] Smith finished fourth in the 2019 NAB Rising Star award behind Sam Walsh (footballer), Connor Rozee and Sydney Stack [7]
