Lucky Mbabazi

Lucky Rehma Mbabazi is a Ugandan female journalist,[1] and a co host to Gaetano Kagwa on the morning over drive show that airs every Monday to Friday afternoon on 91.3 Capital FM.

She was born on October 26, 1980, in Nsambya hospital, Kampala District in the central region of Uganda, to Late Arona Mbabazi and her mother Faridah she went to Kibili Primary School, and Kibili Secondary School for Uganda Certificate of Education and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in Kampala and later she studied procurement & supplies at the University of Dar-es Salaam, in Tanzania.

She lived in Tanzania for about five years and worked for radios; 100.5 Times FM 92.2 Magic FM and DTV (Dar es Salaam Television). Shehe worked with WBS Television on her return to Uganda.[2]

In 2013, Lucky Mbabazi joined Next Media Services,[3] where she has been hosting a health and lifestyle show on NBS Television.

She is married to sports journalist Patrick Kanyomozi,[4] who was her work mate at KFM. Together they have four children She hails from a Muslim background and a middle born from a family of 11 children.[5] She is also known for encouraging women to make physical exercises.[6]
