Lloyd B. Carleton (1872 – August 8, 1933) was an early film director with Thanhouser. Carleton and Barry O'Neil were directors at the film company from its start in 1909.

Born in New York City as Carleton B. Little, he studied at Columbia College before starting a stage career and becoming a director with stock companies. He was a producer for a Peter Pan production in Australia in 1908.

He began his film career with Thanhouser then moved to American Biograph and then Lubin Studios, Box Office Attractions Company, Selig Polyscope Company, and Universal Pictures.[1]
