List of universities with BDSM clubs
Universities having BDSM clubs are a modern phenomenon, especially in USA.[1][2] Some of these student-clubs dedicated to BDSM (along with sexual fetishism and kink) are officially recognized and funded by their university or college administration.[3][4]

Some American universities - such as Texas Tech University[48], Indiana University[49] and Michigan State University have professors who research and take curriculum classes on BDSM.[50][51][52][53][54]
A few U.S. university presses, such as that of Duke University, Indiana University and University of Chicago, have also published books on BDSM written by professors.[55]
