List of Paris Saint-Germain F.C. presidents

Since its foundation in 1970, Paris Saint-Germain Football Club have had 17 presidents, ten of which have won at least one trophy. Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi is the current president. He became the club's first foreign president in 2011. Al-Khelaifi is also PSG's most successful president in terms of trophies won, with 23. Under his tenure, the capital club has clinched seven Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France, five Coupe de la Ligue and seven Trophée des Champions. Emblematic club president in the 1990s, Michel Denisot, comes second. He oversaw PSG's golden era between 1991 and 1998 during which the Parisians won eight trophies.[1]

Pierre-Étienne Guyot was PSG's first president. His tenure was short-lived, but during his only season in charge the club won its maiden trophy, the Ligue 2 title.[1] Famous Parisian couturier Daniel Hechter left his mark on the club by designing its iconic home jersey (known « Hechter shirt ») after becoming president in 1973. The shirt is blue with a red central and vertical band framed by white edgings.[2] Hechter was replaced by Francis Borelli in 1978. The latter went on to become the club's longest-serving president. During his 13 years in charge, PSG won its first major titles: two French Cups in 1982 and 1983, and the Ligue 1 title in 1986.[1]
