Legislative Assembly of Amur Oblast

The Legislative Assembly of Amur Oblast (Russian: Законодательное собрание Амурской области) (prior to 2008 the Council of People's Deputies of Amur Oblast) is the legislative and representative unicameral public authority of Amur Oblast, and is the constantly operating highest and only regulatory authority of the area. Following the results of elections in Legislative assembly of the VI convocation four political parties won seats: United Russia – 17 places, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia – 8 places, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation – 8 places, A Just Russia – 3 places. United Russia received the majority of places, however it has no absolute parliamentary majority. The chairman is Vyacheslav Loginov.
