Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2001

Latvia was represented by Arnis Mednis, with the song "Too Much", at the 2001 Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 12 May in Copenhagen, Denmark. "Too Much" was chosen as the Latvian entry at the national final, Eirodziesma, on 24 February.[1]

Before Eurovision

Eirodziesma 2001

The final was held on 24 February 2001 at the LTV TV Studios in Riga, hosted by Horens Stalbe and Dita Torstere. The winner was chosen by 4 "expert" juries (80%) and televoting (20%), Marija Naumova won the televote, but finished third overall.[2]
