Kintampo South District
The Kintampo South District is one of the eleven districts of the Bono East Region of Ghana,[1] and was one of the twenty-two (22) districts of the Brong Ahafo Region before its reorganisation. Its capital is Jema.

History
Kintampo South district was split off the former Kintampo District (which is since then called Kintampo North Municipal District) on November 12, 2003.
