Jillelaguda is a neighborhood in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy district of the Indian state of Telangana.[1]

Government and politics

Jillelguda municipality is the civic body of the town. On 11 April 2016, the gram panchayat of Jillelguda was upgraded to Jillelguda municipality.[2]presently this area is under Meerpet municipal corporation.

It is a part of the Chevella Lok Sabha constituency and Maheshwaram constituency of Telangana Legislative Assembly. Sabitha Indra Reddy is the present MLA of this constituency.

Transport

Jillelaguda is connected to other places within Hyderabad via the TSRTC, with buses available from the DSNR and Midani bus depots. The nearest MMTS station is Malakpet.The nearest airport is Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Jillelaguda Venkateshwara Swami Temple

A 500-year-old Venkateswara temple, known as Matsya Avatara Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple has its presence in this town.
