Jasmin Bhasin is an Indian actress and model known for portraying Twinkle Taneja Sarna in Zee TV's Tashan-e-Ishq,[1] and Teni Bhanushali in Colors TV's Dil Se Dil Tak[2]

Bhasin has also acted in films. She made her film debut through the Tamil film Vaanam in 2011. She has portrayed Nayantara in Colors TV's Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel since 2019.

Early life

Bhasin was born and raised in Kota in Rajasthan.[3] She graduated from a hospitality college in Jaipur.[3]

When Bhasin was a child she had an accident while riding a bicycle. She vomited blood and was also in coma for two days.[4]

Career

Bhasin began her modelling career with print and television advertisements.[3] She was called by director Krish for an audition for the role of a rockstar in a film after he saw an advertisement featuring her.

In 2011, Bhasin made her acting debut with the Tamil film Vaanam. She then worked in many South Indian films like Karodpathi, Veta, and Ladies & Gentlemen and also appeared in commercial ads.

In 2015, Bhasin was cast as the female lead in Zee TV's popular romantic series Tashan-E-Ishq.[5] and won best debut award in Gold Awards. Tashan-E-Ishq ended in September 2016.[6][7]

In 2017, she bagged the lead role of "Teni" in Colors TV Show Dil Se Dil Tak.[8][9]

In 2019, she played the lead role of "Happy" in Star Plus's Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji but soon quit due to changes in storyline as she was uncomfortable playing a mother on screen and Donal Bisht replaced her.[10][11] She was also seen in the ninth season of Colors TV's popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi where she ended as a semi-finalist.[12] In November 2019, Bhasin joined the cast of Naagin 4 as Nayantara.[13] She quit the series in February 2020.[14]
