Hans clan

Hans (हंस)  Hans (हांस) Han (हाँ) is a Jat clan[1] found in Punjab, India and Pakistan[2]. In Punjab its pronounced as 'हांस'. They are also found in Europe (German, Hans/Hanz).  Dilip Singh Ahlawat has mentioned it as one of the ruling Jat clans in Central Asia. Hans surname is also found in some parts of bengal province. Their number is minimal and belong to brahmin caste. They are not found in more numbers.
