Khangura

Khanguras are mostly sikhs. They became sikh when many people were also changing their religion to sikhism. There was a powerful khan ruler who got so impressed from a Sikh guru(Shri Guru Teg Bahadar Ji or Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji not sure) that he changed his religion and adopted Sikhism. Therefore he changed his surname to khangura which means 'Khan guru da'. All khanguras we see today are his children.
