Grizzy and the Lemmings

• Grizzy: Grizzy is an anthropormorphic (approx. 7-feet tall) brown bear who lives in a Forest Ranger's cabin in Canada. In the cabin he does not do anything except sleeping on Sofa , watching TV or eating. He likes watching cartoons of fishes. He does not like Opera music which is, sometimes, unexpectedly starts while changing channels. The only thing that stands in his way of luxury are the Lemmings, who give him a lot of trouble and mischief. Grizzy does not likes them but in the episode "Intensive Care" it is shown that when Lemmings are sick , it developed a little care in the Bear's mind. He does not say anything meaningful in cartoon but he was seen reading English from a mobile phone screen. Grizzy is actually very smart or intelligent to find such a way. He is called Bholu-Bhalu also Mota Aalu (fat potato) by lemmings insultingly in the show's hindi dubbed series casted on Pogo TV.
• Lemmings: They are a group of blue anthropomorphic lemmings who also live in the Forest Ranger's cabin. Their motto is "Fun for all & All for fun!". They love having rave parties and they also eat Yummy XL ( Choco-Butter , a ripoff of Nutella) like Grizzy. They love watching cartoons of cat and mouse which is shown in some episodes like in "Cartoon Bear". They can sing lullaby which has made Grizzy sleep in a number of episodes. They do not say anything meaningful in cartoon but often make a sound like 'Tabodi'. While they cause a lot of chaos, their mischief is mainly targeted at Grizzy. They are not very smart or intelligent like Grizzy as shown in many episodes ( Like in "Intensive Care") but in some episodes they are also seen smarts in madness.They are referred as Bulbula or Bulbulo ki toli meaning group of lemmings in the show's Hindi dubbed version .

• She - Bear: The Female anthropomorphic Bear who is often Grizzy's love interest. She lives in the forest and loves sniffing flowers, watching butterflies and kites. Grizzy always tries to impress her, but this always ends in disaster. She has little interest in Grizzy and always treats his advances with skepticism due to how he continually messes things up. In Season 2, she received a redesign, giving her a pink huge spot (like Grizzy's) on her belly, instead of the former heart-shaped spot. In the episode "Babysitting" it is shown that she has a baby bear cub which she give to the Grizzy to babysit him for sometime. She has featured a larger role in the episode "Mind in a Whirl". In the show's hindi dubbed version She-Bear is known as Maina.
• Other Animals :There are many other animals in the forest but they are not anthropomorphic like Grizzy, Lemmings and Female bear. Both Grizzy and the Lemmings tend to use these animals for their own schemes, but usually by the end of every episode, both of them suffer from the hilarious consequences of their actions. Other Animals are listed below :
  • Moose : Various brown colored Moose appear in many episodes of the show. The Lemmings use them for transport.He is fond of eating carrots. So sometimes lemmings hangs a carrot in front of his eyes to make him run to eat that. They are incredibly passive and don't do anything apart from grazing. A Moose is featured in a larger role in the episode "Rainbow Moose". The Black Moose is shown in the episodes "A midsummer's Bear Dream" and in "Wandering Spirits". They are named Baaraa Singhaa in show's Hindi dubbed version.
  • Puckatoos (Chickens) : These dumb birds are often used as a mode of transport by the Lemmings. Sometimes a chicken becomes bigger in size due to the actions and consequences of grizzy and lemmings . A giant chicken is shown in the episode "A Midsummer's Bear dream". They are main characters in the episodes "A Sizeable Problem" and "Call of the Bear". They are called Murgi Mausi (Auntie chicken) in the show's hindi dubbed version .
  • Frog : Frogs are generally shown eating flies (and once, shrunken down Grizzy) namely Methhak in the show's hindi dubbed version. A frog is a main character in the episode "Bear Charm".
  • Fly : Flies are generally shown being eaten by Frogs. A fly is the main character in the episode "Yummy Fly".
  • Butterfly : A butterfly is the main character in the episode "The Bear and the Butterfly".The Female bear loves them. It is called Titli Raani (meaning the queen butterfly) in hindi dubbed series.
  • Raccoon : The raccoons on the show are dirty and often rummage in trash and eat garbage. A racoon has a larger role in the episodes "Sniffer Racoon", "Bear's Best friend" and "Masked Racoon".
  • Bat : Bats featured larger role in "Batgrizzy"'.
  • Spider : Spiders are very rarely seen. Grizzly has a fear of spiders in the episode "Spider Lemmings".
  • Tyrannosaurus Rex : A T-rex (Dinosaurs) is unfrozen from a block of ice in "Jurrasic Bear" and also appears in episodes "Timeless Bear" and in "The Bear Next Door".
• The Forest Ranger : The Forest Ranger never appears in person. He only appears in the intro (Show opening) and in the episode "As Far As Bear Can Remember" in flashback. He is the man who leaves his cabin in forest where the bear and lemmings were lived. In some episodes his poster and photos are shown. He is the only human character in the show. In the show's hindi dubbed version, the forest ranger is known as Shikari (Hunter).
