Release and reception
Thr album was released on May 27, 1997, exactly two years after the May 27, 1995 formation of Snot.[7] Guitarist Sonny Mayo later recalled that Dobbs, the dog featured on the cover, also had a litter of puppies the day the album came out.[7]
Chris Slawecki of Allmusic gave the album two-and-a-half-stars, labelling it a "sprawling, hardcore mess."[3]
