Gary Tauchen

Gary Tauchen is a State Representative who represents Wisconsin's 6th Assembly District which includes parts of Oconto, Shawano, and Outagamie counties. He was first elected in 2006 to replace long-time State Representative John Ainsworth, who was retiring.

Tauchen serves on the committees on Agriculture, Renewable Energy and Rural Affairs, and Workforce Development.[1] He is a graduate of Bonduel High School (1971) and earned his bachelor of science in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1976.
