Fundación de Estudios Superiores Comfanorte

FESC University (officially in Spanish: Fundación de Estudios Superiores Comfanorte, «Comfanorte Higher Studies Foundation») commonly known simply FESC, it is a Colombian university with the legal form of foundation. It began its academic operations on August 23, 1995 in the city of Cúcuta, Norte de Santander.

The institution has 8 undergraduate programs, 44 diploma programs, 2 specializations and 7 master's degrees, for a total of 61 academic programs,[1] in addition to having numerous research groups.

The university hosts the department's only professional graphic design faculty, various research groups and a modern campus for the academic activities of its students. In addition, it has different institutional agreements with higher education institutions and national universities. It also has several inter-institutional agreements with universities in Mexico,[2] Argentina,[3] Netherlands,[4] Spain,[5] Brazil,[6] China,[7] among other countries.

History

The FESC was founded on August 23, 1995 by the management group of the Northern family compensation fund of Santander Comfanorte, seeking to provide a greater added value to its beneficiaries. By resolution 04172 issued by the Ministry of National Education through the ICFES for legal status, the FESC was authorized to initiate educational operations.

• Fifth Avenue Headquarters: It is located in the city of Cúcuta, in the direction Av 5 # 15–27, Center of city.
• Ocaña Campus: It is located in the municipality of Ocaña, in the direction Kdx 194–785, Universitaria Way.
