Football at the 2014 Asian Games – Men

The men's football tournament at the 2014 Asian Games was held in Incheon and three other cities in South Korea from 14 September to 2 October 2014. The opening match was played 5 days prior to the opening ceremony. In this tournament, 29 teams played in the men's competition.[1]

Age limit for the men teams is under-23, same as the age limit in football competitions in Olympic Games, while three overage players are allowed among each squad.

South Korea; host of the tournament secured the gold medal after defeating North Korea 1–0 in the late of second extra time. Meanwhile, Iraq won the bronze medal after defeating Thailand prior to gold medal match with the score 1–0.
