Ethiopia, Ethiopia, Ethiopia be first
Ityopʾya, Ityopʾya, Ityopʾya qədämi (Amharic: ኢትዮጵያ ኢትዮጵያ ኢትዮጵያ ቅደሚ, "Ethiopia, Ethiopia, Ethiopia be first") was the national anthem of Ethiopia from 1975 to 1992. It was first adopted in 1975, during the Derg regime of Mengistu Haile Mariam. When the regime was reorganized in 1987 as the People's Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the song was retained.[1]
