Ethan Ross (footballer, born 2001)

Ethan Ross (born 15 August 2001) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays for Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.[3] He joined the Dons when he was 10 years old,[4] and as of 2019 is captain of their Under-18 side. He has also had a loan spell at Dunfermline Athletic.

Career

On 29 January 2019, Ross made his professional debut for Aberdeen coming off the bench away to Stenhousemuir in a Scottish Cup replay.[5] On 9 March 2019, he made his league debut again coming off the bench in an away match against Celtic.[6] He signed a new two-year contract in May 2019.[7]

Ross joined Dunfermline Athletic on loan in January 2020.[8][9]

Personal life

He is the younger brother of Seb Ross who also plays in midfield for Aberdeen's reserve and youth teams;[12] their family runs a bakery business in Inverurie.[13]
