Dominican College of Santa Rosa

Dominican College is a Catholic school in Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines. It provides preparatory, elementary, secondary and collegiate education. The school was founded by the Dominican Sisters.

History

The cornerstone for the school was laid on 8 September 1993 by Bonifacio Solis, the Reverend Vicar of the Holy Rosary Province.

The first three-story building was constructed in 1994. In 1996, the three-story San Lorenzo Ruiz Building was constructed. In 2001, the Veritas Sports Complex was constructed. It has a seating capacity of more than 500, a sound system, and showers and dressing rooms. It also serves as a venue for other extra and co-curricular activities.

In 2002, the school constructed an audiovisual room for student productions and seminars. That same year, a convent, a Science and Allied Health Laboratory Center and school offices were created.

Also in 2002, the school land to build a nursing home for the nursing students and a restaurant for the hospitality students.

In 2005, the HRM laboratory was constructed.. Its facilities include a kitchen, a receiving room, dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms like those in a hotel suite.
