Davide Re

Davide Re (born 16 March 1993) is an Italian male 400 metre runner, who won two gold medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games.[1]

Biography

At individual senior level he won silver medal at 2017 European Team Championships Super League and the gold medal two years later at Bydgoszcz 2019 in Poland.[2] He participated in two editions of the World Championships on the 400 metres, reaching in both cases the semifinal, however resulting 23rd in London 2017, but 9th and first of those not admitted to the final and with a time of 44.85 in Doha 2019 (only 8 hundredths of a second) of his national record, established however in height in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland and three months before). The same 8 hundredths of a second that did not allow him access to the final.[3]
