Colors Kannada

Colors Kannada previously known as ETV Kannada (Kannada: Colors ಕನ್ನಡ) is a South Indian general entertainment channel that primarily broadcasts Kannada language entertainment shows.[1][2][3][4][5] This channel is currently available in India, United States and Malaysia.[6]

History

It was launched on 10 December 2000 and promoted by Hyderabad's Ramoji Rao. Now it is part of Viacom 18 owned by Network 18. In 2013, the channel completed its 13th anniversary. The channel was re-branded under the Colors franchise on 26 April 2015. The first GEC to start HD channel in Karnataka.
