History

The Club was formed in 1951 as "Batman FC" and came to recognise the local community through a name change in 1981 to the Coburg Districts Football Club.

Fielding Junior & Senior sides in the Essendon District Football League (EDFL) from 1981 till 1987, but due to a lack of junior numbers at the Club in season 1987 the EDFL decreed that the Club would no longer be affiliated within the Essendon League from season 1988. Subsequently, the Club sought affiliation with the then Footscray District Football League (FDFL) which today is known as the Western Region Football League (WRFL). In 2013 the Club moved back to the Essendon District Football League, competing in Division 2 and finishing 6th placed with 9 wins and 9 losses for the year.
