Child Marriage in Angola. In 2017 in Angola, 30% of girls are married off before the 18 yo. 8% are married before they turn 15.[1]

Under the Family Code of Angola, only people over the age of 18 can marry. However, the law allows for exceptions: boys may marry at 16 and girls at 15 with the permission of a person having authority over the minor.[1]
