Castelo Branco District

Castelo Branco District (Portuguese: Distrito de Castelo Branco [kɐʃˈtɛlu ˈβɾɐ̃ku] (listen)) is located in Central Portugal. Its capital is Castelo Branco, which is now also the most populous city, taking over Covilhã, what was once the largest city.
