Browar Łomża

The Browar Łomża (Polish pronunciation: [ˈwɔmʐa]) is Poland's fourth largest brewery. Browar Łomża Sp. z o.o. launched the plant in 1968. In 2007 it was purchased by Royal Unibrew.[1] In 2011 it was sold to Polish Brewery Van Pur of Warsaw.[2] The Browar Łomża brewery is located in Łomża, Poland.

Browar Łomża Brewery has been brewing since 1968. The plant was modernized in 2004 and has a capacity to brew up to 850 thousand hectolitres. Traditionally it used to brew three slightly different beers: "Kurpie", "Wyborowe", "Export" and "Jasne". Later came "Łomża Strong" but it was not particularly successful and has now been discontinued. In 2010 Browar Łomża came up with a new taste "miodowe" (honey). After ownership changes and due to marketing campaigns, new brands such as "Łomża niepasteryzowane" (unpasteurised) and "Łomża Export niepasteryzowane" are gaining popularity Łomża Jasne, the most popular beer within our range is a traditional Polish all-malt lager produced at the historic Brewery in Łomża. The recipe consists of nothing more than three carefully ingredients: water, barley malt and hops. Łomża Jasne is our "pride and joy and delivered to the world and enjoyed by many discerning customers.

Regionality

In the Polish town of Łomża, is where our history begins. In 1968 the very first production of Łomża lager rolled out of the brewery. Since then it has become a firm favourite within the local region of Warmia and Mazuria. Today, we proudly export our regional gem to the rest of the world.

The Łomża brewery is one of the last remaining independent big capacity breweries in Poland. The decisions we make directly affect us and our business. We don’t compromise on quality. We stay true to ourselves and our aim to produce good quality, honest beer.

Water, Location and Ecology

The purest water sourced from deep underground in our own well guarantees the perfect and invariable taste of our beers. The Brewery is located in a region of Poland known as the "Green Lungs of Poland" – Podlasie (Warmia and Mazuria). We care about our local environment.
