2020 Rally Italia Sardegna
The 2020 Rally Italia Sardegna (also known as the Rally Italia Sardegna 2020) is a motor racing event for rally cars that was scheduled to be held over four days between 4 and 7 June 2020,[2] but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[3] The 2020 event is based in Alghero in Sardinia and consists of twenty special stages. The rally covers a total competitive distance of 308.57 km (191.74 mi).[1]

Dani Sordo and Carlos del Barrio are the defending rally winners. Their team, Hyundai Shell Mobis WRT, are the manufacturers' winners.[4] Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen are the defending winners in the World Rally Championship-2 category,[5][lower-alpha 1] but they will not defend their titles as they were promoted to the higher class.[6] In the World Rally Championship-3 category, Pierre-Louis Loubet and Vincent Landais are the reigning rally winners.[5][lower-alpha 2] Jan Solans and Mauro Barreriro are the defending winners in the Junior World Rally Championship.[7]
