2019 Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football team
The 2019 Texas A&M–Commerce Lions football team represented Texas A&M University–Commerce in the 2019 NCAA Division II football season. They were led by former Rice University David Bailiff, who was in his first year. Bailiff replaced Colby Carthel, who left Commerce to become head coach at Division I Stephen F. Austin State University. The Lions finished with an 11-3 record, finished second in the Lone Star Conference, and qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs for the fifth straight season and the eighth time overall since joining the NCAA in 1982. They finished as National Quarterfinalists for the third time in school history.
