2018–19 Veria F.C. season
The season 2018–19 will be Veria's 58th year in existence as a football club and the second time ever that will compete in the amateur divisions. On 4 July 2018 a temporary administration is appointed by Veria's local court to the Amateur Veria and they set elections day on 30 July. Bikas Group won the elections and became the new owner of the club.[1] The elections happened to the amateur Veria and not Veria S.A., since the club ceased being an S.A. by getting relegated to Imathia FCA after withdrawing from Football League, a local amateur division in Greek football.[2] In season 2018–19 Veria will compete in the following competitions Gamma Ethniki and Imathia Football Clubs Association Cup after merging with Elpis Skoutari and gaining Elpis tax number (AFM) that made the club eligible to practice at the top tier amateur league and debt free.[3] The club kept the same colours and home ground but was forced to introduce a new club crest.[4] The season covers the period from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019.

Events
- 4 July: Amateur Veria is reactivated and a temporary administration is appointed by Veria's local court and sets election day on July 30. Michalis Sakalis is appointed as chairman of the temporary administration.[5]
- 30 July: Bikas Group supported party wins the amateur Veria elections. The club chairman became Stefanos Apostolidis.
- 30 July: Nikos Papanotas is appointed as Veria's head coach and Giorgos Metaxas as technical director.[6][7]
- 13 August: Veria's merge with Elpis Skoutari is completed and the club's press office announced through social media that the club will compete in the 2018–19 Gamma Ethniki championship under the name FC Veria.[8]
- 1 September: The board of the club introduced the new club logo. A logo based on a shield shape featuring a crown which refers to Veria's nickname "Queen of the North", a huge Greek letter beta which refers to both initials of the Greek name of the club "Βέροια" (Veria) and the nickname of "Βασίλισσα του Βορρά" (Queen of the North), 1960 which is the founding year of the club and the club's historic colours blue and crimson. The new logo was introduced to the public through a video uploaded on the official Facebook page of the club.[9]
- 29 October: Nikos Papanotas gets fired after club's poor start in the league.[10]
- 30 October: Sakis Theodosiadis is appointed as the club's new head coach.[11]
- 17 January: Veria signed Labros Tairis from Aris Palaiochori on an undisclosed fee.[12]
- 14 April: Veria gets the away win against Agrotikos Asteras and secured their return to the Football League as Group 2 champions.[13]
- 4 May: Veria did the double as they beat by 3–0 Megas Alexandros Trikala to the Imathia Cup final and secured a spot to the 2019–20 Greek Football Cup.[14]
- 12 May: Veria celebrated the winning of Gamma Ethniki Group 2 championship and their return to Football League in a friendly match against Doxa Drama at Veria Stadium. Doxa Drama won by 3–0.[15]
