2018–19 Edmonton Oilers season

The 2018–19 Edmonton Oilers season was the 40th season for the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that was established on June 22, 1979,[2] and 47th season including their play in the World Hockey Association (WHA). The Oilers were eliminated from playoff contention on April 1, 2019, after the St. Louis Blues' shootout win against the Colorado Avalanche[3], missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season and for the twelfth time in the past thirteen seasons.
