Notes

  • Shared Drives:
  • This was the last time that the season finale was held in Italy.
  • Behra raced in a Maserati with a V12 engine after Fangio practiced with the V12 car and decided to use his usual straight-6 car after he was quicker in practice with the latter. All other Maseratis that ran in the race had the standard straight-6 engine.
