The Wright Renown was a low entry single-decker bus body built on the Volvo B10BLE chassis by Wrightbus between 1997 and 2002.
A total of 867 were produced with Arriva, FirstGroup, Go-Ahead Group and Transdev Blazefield purchasers. Bus Éireann purchased 19 for use in Ireland.[1]
The Renown was superseded by the Eclipse on the Volvo B7L chassis, but due to unpopularity of the chassis, Wright developed the Eclipse Urban on the Volvo B7RLE chassis, which became the true successor of the Renown.[2]
