World Youth Day 2019 (Spanish: Jornada Mundial de la Juventud 2019) is an international Catholic event focused on religious faith and youth, due to be celebrated on January 22-27, 2019 in Panama City, Panama.[1] This was announced by Pope Francis at the end of the closing Mass of World Youth Day 2016 in Brzegi nearby Krakow, Poland.[2][3]

On 22 November 2016, Pope Francis announced the theme for World Youth Day 2019: I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word. (Lk 1:38)
