Wolves at the Gate is a Christian metal and post-hardcore band from Cedarville, Ohio, United States. Formed in 2008, they're currently signed to Solid State Records, where the band released three EPs: We Are the Ones (2011), Back to School (2013), and Reprise (2015), three full-length albums: Captors (2012), VxV (2014), Types & Shadows (2016), and a Christmas single entitled "The King" in 2012.

Background

The band formed in 2008, and are from Cedarville, Ohio.[1][2]

In September 2011, the band signed to label Solid State Records.[2]

The band released their first EP on November 15, 2011 entitled We Are the Ones,[9] and their second on September 30, 2013 entitled Back to School.[10]

The band released their debut studio album Captors on July 3, 2012, with Solid State.[6][11] For the Billboard charting week of July 21, 2012, Captors charted at No. 7 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart,[12] and at No. 17 on the Hard Rock Albums chart.[13]

Their next album, VxV (Pronounced Five by Five), was released on June 10, 2014.[14] The band released the song "Dust to Dust" on April 24, 2014.[15] The band's most recent album, Types and Shadows, was released on November 4, 2016.
